SICOR: missing data in the output BOA reflectance
Here is a screenshot of the L2A BOA reflectance generated with SICOR for ENMAP01-____L1B-DT0000026449_20230711T111342Z_002_V010302_20230712T062729Z:
In contrast, the output produced with ISOFIT looks like that:
My guess is that we now have an issue with the water vapour first guess retrieval that we deactivated for SICOR in !69 (merged) due to spatial artifacts reported for a scene with low water vapour (around 1.5) by @saeid in #90 (closed) (not sure if the low water vapour really causes these artifacts). However, the above scene now has quite a high water vapour mean (~3.5) and it looks like the actual water vapour estimation in SICOR does not converge for a lot of superpixels from the segmentation.
The default water vapour prior mean of SICOR is 2.5 and I am now wondering if it would make sense to deactivate the first guess retrieval just for scenes with low water vapour (lets say below 2) and leave it activated for all others.
@nbohn What do you think?
I guess the ultimate solution would be to find the actual reason of these spatial artifacts from #90 (closed).
