JLD2 tests successful

The input/output mechanisms after the JLD-to-JLD2 update have been tested. The speed has increased noticeably, and the resulting JLD2 file sizes are at 1/5 those of JLD files. Re-extractions and comparisons between the JLD and JLD2 files showed that the stored variables are identical without corruption. It should now be safe to proceed with JLD2.
