[Hotfix] Type of `itersize` from configuration file needs to be cast to `int`

The number for `itersize` in the configuration file for the database access is interpreted as string and cannot be assigned to the `itersize` member variable. It needs to be cast to `int`. \fyi @laurens @gislars @tara @shinde
