Exit in S2Downloader function Failed to run S2Downloader main process => 'GeoSeries' object has no attribute 'union_all'

I installed S2Downloader via miniforge prompt with a new and empty virtual environment in windows 10 pro. I used the default_config.json file and when I executing the code (S2Downloader --filepath "//path_to_my/default_config.json") I get the following message:

Sentinel 2 Download Directory: path_to_virtual_envs\s2download_envi\Scripts
