This feature relies on pre-processing of the industrial exposure of exposure entities for which this is defined on a 30-arcsec grid. This pre-processing is to be done with the GDE prototype code, until a future refactor of this code within
gde-importer. Instructions of how to do this and provide the necessary input for
gde-importer have been added to the README.
This feature required a modification of the way in which filler data units are created to cover geographical areas of an exposure entity where exposure is not defined in the input aggregated model. A characteristic of exposure entities for which industrial exposure is defined on 30-arcsec cells is that most of the exposure entity needs to be filled, because the 30-arcsec cells usually cover very little of the whole territory. This led to the generation of data-unit tiles to become unmanageable for one large filler data unit. To overcome this, filler data units are now created to comply with a maximum area requirement: the code keeps on splitting the filler data unit until its largest piece is smaller than the maximum area (defined by the user in the configuration file).
Apart from the corresponding added/expanded tests in this MR, the code has been tested by successfully running it for Greece and Italy.
